Environment: Situated just south of the Congress Avenue bridge in Austin, Texas, Demand Media Austin works from the former home of the legendary Austin Opry House, an infamous music hall that once hosted Willie Nelson, Tom Waits, U2, Bonnie Raitt, Warren Zevon, The Psychedelic Furs and Lou Reed. We’re in a hip zip. NPR, said, “78704 has more registered musicians than any place in the US.” Just like the bumper stickers say, “It’s not just a zip code, it’s a way of life.” Through our front doors you’ll immediately feel it — our history, our future and the energy-buzz that surrounds our workdays.

Our Conference Rooms are identified by the names: Stevie, Ray and Vaughan — a reflection of the Music Hall we call home. The legendary blues musician recorded here!



 

Activities: Our work-life balance is an essential part of our culture, and it's reflected in the occasional visits from family and friends, vendors (drycleaners, masseuse, car wash, etc.) and in the ever-popular Friday afternoon 3 p.m. social hour. We enjoy all kinds of fun events, like our Fall Festival (Halloween costumes included) and our very own P(ot)lucks. We are a friendly group with an office crew that is only getting bigger (it’s a Texas thing) so come on down. We’d love to meet you and show you around.

Meet Mike Hall, who has been with us since the beginning. Over the past four years, Mike has worked in marketing, engineering and professional services before moving into his current role as Sales Engineer. When deals go from “yes” to “how,” Mike steps in to ensure a seamless implementation of Pluck products. He’s adept at both strategizing with clients and resolving complex technical issues.

Mike’s a family man and shares his downtime with wife Amy and daughters Maddie and Marly. He plays “sick” drums in two local bands and is a champion Frisbee player!
