Courtney MontpasExecutive Vice President, People OperationsAs part of the company's founding team, Courtney is responsible for developing Demand Media's distinctive corporate culture, including overseeing recruitment, career development, training, facilities and human resources initiatives company-wide. Previously as SVP of Demand Vertical Networks, she helped define Demand Media's strategy for its industry-leading domain business and managed 36 of its owned-and-operated Media properties. Courtney joined Demand Media after five years at Yahoo/Overture, including two years as Senior Director of the domain name and registrar business, where she was responsible for managing over $300 million of paid search revenues. She also helped develop product and strategy for the direct navigation business and managed the advertising sales and marketing team at Yahoo/Overture. Courtney previously held sales and management positions at AllAdvantage.com and eBillboards. She holds a BA in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. |
