Growing Demand Blog

What’s New on eHow
If you’re one of the millions of people who blog post photovisit eHow each day, you’ll notice the site has a bright, inviting new look. But the real story isn’t just the updated design – it’s how we’ve improved the eHow experience from top to bottom, making it easier than ever for people to discover and interact with our “trusted advice for the curious life."

To give users a more focused experience based blog post photoon their preferences, we’ve created six primary channels – Home, Money, Style, Health, Family and Food – each with specially-programmed content and features that help visitors find plenty of great solutions and cool new ideas in their topic of interest. These channels empower people to get answers and advice for all their current projects, while also inspiring them to plan and pursue future ones. And channel experiences also benefit leading brands by giving them more opportunities to reach intent-driven consumers at the moment they commit to taking action.

We’re also excited to be introducing more curated articles, featured blogs and high-definition video series, created especially for eHow by experts and professionals from Demand Media Studios. One of these new video series, Curbside Eats, debuts today on the eHow Food channel, and features food truck expert Mike Weaver exploring the tasty trend of mobile restaurants popping up from coast to coast.

And of course we want to make sure visitors are finding everything they came for, so we’ve added “Helpful?” buttons as a new fixture on all eHow articles and videos. With this feature, visitors can tell us how useful the information is with a simple yes” or “no,” as well as share detailed feedback directly with our editorial staff. This gives us an even greater ability to understand what consumers want and find valuable – and will add practical insights for our content creation studios.
