Why, and Why Now?

Because we started off as a very acquisitive business from the get-go, it wasn't always clear to the outside world how all the pieces fit together. We reached a point in our maturity where it made sense to clarify what Demand Media is and why we matter. As we've become more visible in recent months, we realized we had an important opportunity to better explain who we are and what we do, and this update to our corporate branding is central to that effort.

Based upon our innovative approach to content creation and social engagement, our essential value is connecting those who know with those who want to know. We help inform, entertain and connect millions of people every day. The unique way our media model works and the value that model brings to the web make us, simply, the engine for what the world wants to know and share.

Our Creative Code

We pride ourselves on balancing powerful technology with personal passion and creativity. That balance is intrinsic to our culture and our business, and consistently drives our success. More than a logo, our new visual identity system is based on a concept called "The Creative Code" which blends geometric, code-like shapes with more emotional color, texture and photography. It also reflects how the elemental components of our platform combine to create a myriad of impactful outcomes. We think the new identity system represents our company and our approach to online media extremely well. And we hope you like it too.
