New Online Destination Gives Fans Unprecedented Access to Lance Armstrong and Team with Behind-the-Scenes Blog Posts, Videos and Race Updates

SANTA MONICA, Calif. Feb 17, 2010 - Last month, LIVESTRONG.COM(sm), a destination for health, fitness and lifestyle-related information, launched the online home for Team RadioShack, Lance Armstrong's new professional cycling team. The site is off to a very strong start: In just seven days, more than one million people have visited the destination. This marks a 22 percent increase in traffic when compared with the number of people who visited the 2009 Tour de France page on LIVESTRONG.COM within one week of its launch.

The LIVESTRONG.COM website is the exclusive gateway and central hub for up to-the-minute reports regarding Lance Armstrong's new pro-tour cycling team. The team made its debut at the Santos Tour Down Under, on January 17th in Adelaide, Australia. The seven-time Tour de France champion's ongoing progress, experience, and interviews with other team members are featured on the Team RadioShack website, www.teamradioshack.com, powered by LIVESTRONG.COM.

"My motivation for racing is simple.  I am competing against the worldwide threat of cancer, which is projected to become the leading cause of death around the globe this year, and in support of the 28 million people living with cancer today," said Armstrong, cancer survivor, LIVESTRONG founder and chairman, advisory board chairman for LIVESTRONG.COM and founder and captain of Team RadioShack. "Through Team RadioShack, I can help spotlight the work LIVESTRONG is doing to reduce the global cancer burden and the new extension to our site helps us take that message one step further.  We will also share our experiences to the world online and bring fans with us virtually for every step of the Team RadioShack journey."

The LIVESTRONG.COM coverage of Team RadioShack gives fans unparalleled access to the riders with behind-the-scenes videos, in-depth bios, pre-race coverage, and an insider's look at team meetings.
These updates are continuously supported with blogger correspondence to give a fresh perspective on race activity. Cycling enthusiasts can also visit the site later this year for the latest details regarding two of the most anticipated races of the season, the Tour de France and the Tour of California.

The dedicated Team RadioShack coverage provided through LIVESTRONG.COM enables fans to follow Armstrong and his team along more than 50 scheduled events around the globe. Additionally, the community is able to see each stage using LIVESTRONG Loops, a route tracking tool that provides a detailed, interactive map of the courses. The application is just one of many in the LIVESTRONG.COM growing library of health and fitness tools that help support an active, health-minded community.

"We know that our community of five million users comes to LIVESTRONG.COM to find information and tools to live a healthier life.  Many of them are inspired by Lance, so to offer direct and immediate interaction with him and Team RadioShack is incredible," said Dan Brian, general manager for LIVESTRONG.COM. "We saw tremendous response when we covered the Tour de France last year with Lance, and are excited that we can provide a more comprehensive experience through the Team RadioShack site."
